Spanish stock market rises 0.31 pct, closes at 9,107 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.31 percent on Friday to close at 9,107.30 points, up from the 9,079.20 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 3.8 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium falling from the 139.80 points of Monday to the 135 points of Friday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closing at 1.48 percent compared to the 1.57 percent of a week ago.

On Friday's session, Inditex shares led rises climbing 1.79 percent, followed by Grifols, Ferrovial, R.E.C., Banco Santander and Gas Natural that rose 1.51 percent, 1.12 percent, 0.98 percent, 0.96 percent and 0.79 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 8.20 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Acerinox, ArcelorMittal, Banco Sabadell and Amadeus that lost 2.80 percent, 1.60 percent, 1.48 percent, 0.62 percent and 0.32 percent, respectively. Endit
