Jaguar Land Rover to recall vehicles in China

Xinhua, May 27, 2016 Adjust font size:

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will recall 5 faulty automobiles on the Chinese mainland starting May 27.

The recall, filed by Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Trading (Shanghai) Co., affects Jaguar XF models produced between Jan. 14 and 15, 2009, according to a statement on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Defects in the engine fuel system of affected vehicles may cause cracks in the fuel tank flanges, leading to gasoline leaks or even fires, according to the statement.

The company will replace the faulty components free of charge. Endite
