Russia' s Far Eastern city holds the Int' l Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament

Russia' s Far Eastern city holds the 19th Int' l Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament "Nika" in the memory of the coach Svetlana Nikanorova.

The athletes from the cities of the Far East and Siberia regions participated the Tournament. In addition, the competition was attended by youth teams arrived from DPR Korea and New Zealand.

"I have been doing gymnastics for 8 years since I was 6. Today I' m going to perform to get to Candidate Master of sport. I' m a bit nervous but hopefully, it' ll go good" the participant of the Int' l Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament Milana Aladina told Xinhua.

The purpose of the int' l traditional tournament is a development and popularization of rhythmic gymnastics, raising the level of gymnasts' sportsmanship, and strengthening the friendly relations between the cities of Siberia, Far East, and Asia-Pacific countries. Endit
