Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks snapped a four-day losing streak and notched up gains in Tuesday's trade, even though investors remained cautious ahead of the expiry of May series F&O contracts.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,305.47, 75.11 points or 0.30 percent up from the previous close of 25,230.36, with a turnover of 423.78 crore rupees (about 62.6 million U.S. dollars). Endit
