The following are highlights of leading Nigerian media outlets on Tuesday.

-- The Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), Monday, accused the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and other oil and gas companies of shortchanging the country and failing to remit 4.4 billion U.S. dollars and 358.3 billion naira (1.79 million U.S. dollars) to the Federation Account in 2013. -- Former President Goodluck Jonathan has denied a report in a national newspaper on Monday that he had sought refuge in a West African country following reported move to probe his regime over alleged corrupt practices by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
