China warns of geological disasters as heavy rain continues in south

China Meteorological Administration (CMA) warned of "relatively high risks" of geological disasters in parts of rain-battered Yunnan and Sichuan provinces from Sunday night to Monday night.

The CMA also forecasted possible mountain torrents in parts of rainy Hebei Province, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province in the same period.

The administration asked local authorities to closely watch the bad weather and brace for any disasters. Endi
