Xinhua, May 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Shanghai routed visiting Beijing 4-0 in the seventh round of the Chinese Women's Super League (CWSL) on Sunday, climbing to top on the table, followed by Dalian and Changchun.

Zhang Xin broke the deadlock before the end of first half and Liu Jun scored twice in less than two minutes to put Shanghai 3-0 ahead. Miu Siwen completed the host's tally with a penalty kick.

Feng Yadi scored one of the earliest goals in the league history as she opened the account at the 73rd second for Tianjin, which eventually beat Changchuan 2-1 to rank fourth.

Shandong suffered its fourth straight loss as Jiangsu's Wu Chengshu netted the game's sole goal in the 79th minute.

The match between the Chinese Army and Dalian was postponed until September 10, as the former is taking part in the World Military Games.

The eighth round will kick off on May 28. Endit
