Xinhua, May 21, 2016 Adjust font size:

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is deeply saddened by the crash of an EgyptAir flight, said a UN spokesperson here on Friday.

The flight MS804, en route from Paris to Cairo, disappeared from radar screens on Thursday with 66 people aboard, including 30 Egyptians and 15 French.

Egyptian Armed Forces said it have found human remains and wreckage of the crashed EgyptAir flight. And the search is still going on.

The UN chief sends his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the governments and peoples affected by this tragedy, UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told a daily briefing.

"The Secretary-General is grateful to those who have joined the recovery operations for their quick response," said Dujarric. Endit
