Over 20 killed, 30 injured in Bamako road accident

Over 20 people lost their lives and about 30 others were injured in a road accident that occurred on Thursday in the Malian capital Bamako, an official source has said.

The accident occurred after a lorry carrying sand collided with a public transport bus, the source said.

Although police have not given information on the exact cause of the accident, eyewitnesses affirmed that the two vehicles were being driven at high speed before colliding. Enditem
