Xinhua, May 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Prosecutors in east China's Shandong Province have began investigating three officials for corruption, according to the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) on Thursday.

Wang Kaisheng was an inspector with the state-owned assets supervision and administration commission of the city of Qingdao, Zhang Zhengxin, was general manager of Qingdao Beverage Group, and Zhang Zongren, board chairman of Qingdao Zhongtai Group.

Wang is also suspected of privately possessing state assets and Zhang Zongren of taking bribes.

The two have been placed under "coercive measures," which include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest. Endi
