Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with a delegation of the New Zealand National Party led by President Peter Goodfellow in Beijing on Monday.

Hailing the strength of China-New Zealand relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties more than four decades ago, Li said the Communist Party of China (CPC) is willing to increase high-level visits, enhance youth and local cooperation and strengthen exchanges of experience on governance with the National Party of New Zealand.

Goodfellow said his party attaches great importance to relations with the CPC and is ready to deepen cooperation so as to advance the partnership between the two countries. Endi
