Spanish stock market rises 0.67 pct, closes at 8,721 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 rose 0.67 percent on Friday to close at 8,721.50 points, up from the 8,663.10 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 0.67 percent in the week as a whole, with the risk premium going from the 145.40 points of Monday to the147.90 points of Friday closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate rising slightly from the 1.5 percent of Monday to the 1.6 percent of Friday's closing time.

On Friday session, DIA shares led rises climbing 6.56 percent, followed by Acerinox, ACS, Telefonica, Mapfre and Mediaset that rose 1.61 percent, 1.60 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.37 percent and 1.23 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led falls losing 1.15 percent, followed by Merlin, Sacyr, ArcelorMittal, Banco Popular and OHL that lost 1.06 percent, 0.85 percent, 0.65 percent, 0.63 percent and 0.61 percent respectively. Endit
