British FTSE 100 rises 0.56 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.56 percent, or 34.31 points, to 6,138.50 points.

Share price of Tesco increased by 3.89 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Fresnillo, Standard Chartered, Lloyds Banking Group and BHP Billiton increased by 3.72 percent, 3.35 percent, 2.30 percent and 1.92 percent respectively.

Mediclinic International led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.79 percent, following by Inmarsat (4.22 percent), Coca-Cola HBC (3.51 percent), ITV (2.43 precent) and DCC (1.91 percent). Endit
