Xinhua, May 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

More than 70 firefighters helped bring a major blaze at a garden center that sells fireworks under control, Sky News reported on Friday.

Homes near the fire at The Flower Factory in Southampton, Hampshire, were evacuated after they were woken by loud bangs and whistling fireworks early Friday morning, according to the broadcaster.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire had not yet been extinguished but was under control.

No-one was injured, they said. Endit
