Spanish stock market rises 1.32 pct, closes at 8,775 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.32 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,775.20 points, up from the 8,660.80 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Banco Santander led rises climbing 2.88 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Banco Popular, Telefonica, BBVA and Repsol that rose 2.48 percent, 2.09 percent, 1.98 percent, 1.90 percent and 1.90 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Indra A shares led falls losing 1.17 percent, followed by Amadeus, Acerinox, Endesa and Sacyr that lost 0.43 percent, 0.32 percent, 0.30 percent and 0.18 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 151.40 points, up from the 145.40 points of Monday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.6 percent, which was above the 1.5 percent of Monday. Endit
