Namibia gear up for upcoming football fixtures in Ghana

The Namibian Football Association (NFA) has sent a contingent of 17 locally based players to Accra, Ghana to attend a training camp from May 10 to 23, in preparation for two crucial upcoming fixtures.

According to Secretary General of NFA Barry Rukoro, the team's coach Ricardo Mannetti selected local based players after the domestic league ended. The players will travel to Ghana and train in preparation for the AFCON 2017 qualifier match against Niger on June 4 and COSAFA Castle Cup Competition from June 18 to 25.

The team departed for Ghana on Tuesday morning and will return on May 23 and be joined by foreign based players to beef up the squad. Endit
