Former Nigerian national basketball team player Ahmed Temitope has joined Uganda's league side Pemba Warriors.

Brian Gumisiriza, Pemba Warriors' team manager, told Xinhua on Tuesday that they signed Temitope and expected him to bring experience to the team as it battles to win the league title.

Temitope, who had stints with clubs in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, said he is determined to give a good account for his new team.

"I am determined to play well to repay the Pemba Warriors team for the confidence they have had to sign me," said the Nigerian. Endit
