Italian FM says Vienna meeting on Libya needs common efforts

Italian foreign minister said here on Monday that the coming meeting in Vienna on Libya's peace process needs common efforts.

Italian foreign minister Paola Gentiloni made the remarks during his visit to Tunisia, during which he met with his Tunisian counterpart Khemais Jhinaoui.

"The object of meeting is to support the stabilization process in Libya... which requires a larger and common efforts," said Gentiloni.

Tunisia will be invited to the international meeting held next week in Vienna, Austria, to discuss Libya's peace process, said the Italian diplomat.

For his part, the Tunisian minister said his country will continue to support Libya's unity government and offer the necessary aids.

"Tunisia and Italy share the common vision on the support to Libyan government presided by Fayez Sarraj... The solution of crisis remain an important worry for Tunis and Roma," he added. Endit
