A state security court of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) sentenced on Monday husband of the female Emirati murderer, also called Reem Ghost, to life in prison over terror charges, local Dubai media 7Days reported

Mohammed Al Habashi Al Hashemi, 34, was accused of transferring one million dirham (272,80 U.S. dollars) to Islamic State (IS) terrorists, and of identifying himself as IS Prince in the UAE.

Al-Hashemi was married to Alaa Al-Hashemi, who was called the 'Ghost of Reem Island' after she killed U.S. national Ibolya Ryan in November 2014. She was later sentenced to death and was executed by last July.

According to the report, the couple pledged allegiance to IS militant group in a voice recording which they posted online. They also tried to join the IS fighters in Syria. Enditem
