Urgent: DPRK leader Kim Jong Un elected to new top post of Workers' Party of Korea

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong Un has been elected to a newly-created top post of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), it was announced on Monday.

Kim has headed the WPK as first secretary of the party.

Meanwhile, two more members were elected to the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, bringing the number of members of the committee to five. Endi
