Chinese shares plunge Monday

Chinese stocks tumbled on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 2.79 percent, at 2,832.11 points.

The Shenzhen index closed 3.07 percent lower at 9,790.48 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 3.55 percent to close at 2,053.6 points. Endi
