U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

The U.S. dollar increased against most major currencies on Friday despite downbeat economic data from the country.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1394 dollars from 1.1398 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 107.12 Japanese yen, lower than 107.25 in the previous session. Enditem
