Morocco launched on Tuesday a national strategy to counter corruption that is undermining the country's economic growth.

During the launching ceremony, which was chaired by head of government Abdelilah Benkirane, 10 agreements in various areas were signed.

This strategy includes 239 projects in various areas, including improving state-run services and public finance control and accountability, as well as reinforcing transparency and access to information.

Morocco aims by 2025 to win 24 points in Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index, 20 in Doing Business index and 20 in the Global Competitiveness Index. Endit
