An explosion rocked Turkey's northwestern city of Bursa on Wednesday, wounding six people, Turkish media reported.

MOSCOW -- Iran will spare no efforts to protect its security and will seek to boost its missile defense capability, Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said Wednesday during a visit to Moscow.

UNITED NATIONS -- The UN Security Council on Tuesday expressed its "deep concern" at recent Israeli statements about the Golan Heights, stressing the status of the occupied Golan Heights on the Syrian border with Israel "remains unchanged."

PYONGYANG -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Wednesday announced that the ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) will hold its 7th Congress in Pyongyang, the capital of DPRK, on May 6, the country's official news agency KCNA reported.
