Ghana pitched against Ethiopia in Africa U-20 qualifier

Ghana's U-20 team, the Black Satellites, have been pitched against Ethiopia in the second round of the 2017 Africa Youth Championship.

Ethiopia disposed of Somalia 4-1 on aggregate on Friday to face the Black Satellites on May 20 in Addis Ababa before the return leg on June 10 in Accra.

The winner of the Ghana-Ethiopia fixture will progress to the final round of the qualifiers to face either Tunisia or Senegal.

Seven teams will emerge from the qualifiers to join hosts Zambia from February 26 to March 12, next year.

The semi-finalists from the eight-team tournament will qualify to the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Ghana placed third at the 2015 Africa U-20 Championship in Senegal. Endit
