British FTSE 100 rises 0.15 pct on Monday

The FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge, rose by 0.15 percent, or 9.77 points, to 6,353.52 points on Monday.

The share price of BT Group increased by 2.45 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. TUI, Anglo American, Reckitt Benckiser Group, and J Sainsbury increased by 2.31 percent, 2.26 percent, 1.97 percent and 1.51 percent respectively.

ARM Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.84 percent, following by Antofagasta (2.72 percent), Centrica (1.55 percent), Aviva (1.23 percent) and Dixons Carphone (1.19 percent). Endit
