China's treasury bond futures closed higher on Friday, with the contract for settlement in June 2016 closing 0.21 percent higher at 100.64 yuan (15.5 U.S. dollars).

The September 2016 contract closed 0.23 percent higher at 99.92 yuan and the December 2016 contract edged up 0.22 percent to close at 99.46 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
