Spanish stock market rises 3.21 pct, closes at 8,820 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 3.21 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,820.70 points, up from the 8,546.30 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 9.97 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Mapfre, OHL, Banco Santander and Bankia that rose 9.47 percent, 8.36 percent, 7.92 percent, 7.58 percent and 6.94 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Grifols shares led falls losing 1.15 percent, followed by Enagas and Acciona that lost 0.20 percent and 0.10 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 133.30 percent, falling from the 138.30 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.46 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday. Endit
