China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Wednesday, with the contract for settlement in June 2016 closing 0.23 percent lower at 100.74 yuan (15.5 U.S. dollars).

The September 2016 contract closed 0.22 percent lower at 99.95 yuan and the December 2016 contract edged down 0.24 percent to close at 99.49 yuan.

The treasury bond futures were launched at the Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange and started trading on Sept. 6, 2013. Endi
