Dollar trades in upper 108 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 108 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday morning, marginally higher than from levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 108.68-69 yen compared with 108.51-61 yen in New York and 108.19-22 yen on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1382-1383 dollars and 123.69-70 yen against 1.1383-1393 dollars and 123.55-65 yen in New York and 1.1429-1431 dollars and 123.66-70 yen in late trade in Tokyo on Tuesday afternoon. Endit
