Brazilian club signs Neymar's cousin

Xinhua, April 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

Brazilian fourth-tier club Duque de Caxias has announced the signing of striker Rhauderman Santiago, the cousin of Barcelona star Neymar, for the 2016 season.

Rhauderman, 22, who began his career alongside Neymar in the Santos youth academy, agreed to join the Rio de Janeiro club for an undisclosed fee on Tuesday.

According to the Globoesporte newspaper, Rhauderman is "trying to establish his professional career" after failing to impress during spells with Santos, Bangu and Cianorte.

Duque de Caxias also announced the signing of 29-year-old forward Flavio Caca-Rato from Guarani.

Rhauderman and Caca-Rato will be unavailable for their new club until their transfers are registered by the Brazilian football confederation. Endit
