(Sports)Drawing results of the 2018 World Cup Asian qualifiers final round

Following are the drawing results of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Asian qualifiers final round made here on Tuesday:

Group A: Iran, South Korea, Uzbekistan, China, Qatar, Syria

Group B: Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq, Thailand.

The six teams in each group will play home-and-away under the round-robin format, with the first round kicking off on Sept. 1, 2016.

The winner and runner-up of each group, making four teams in total, will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia finals while the third-placed teams of each group will play each other in Asian Play-off Round.

The winner of the Asian Play-off Round will have to defeat a member of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) in a two-legged inter-confederation playoff to win a ticket to Russia. Enditem
