Eurozone business investment rate up to 22.2 pct in Q4 2015

The business investment rate was 22.2 percent in the 19-country euro area in the last quarter of 2015, official data showed on Monday.

The figure was greater than the reading of 22 percent in the previous quarter, said Eurostat, the statistic agency of the European Union.

The business profit share in the single currency zone was 40.0 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015, stable compared with the third quarter of 2015, Eurostat said.

Meanwhile, compared with data released on Jan. 28, 2016, the investment rate of non-financial corporations for the third quarter of 2015 has been revised from 22.1 percent to 22.0 percent. The profit share of non-financial corporations for the third quarter of 2015 has been revised from 39.7 percent to 39.9 percent. Enditem
