Jack Ma appointed as vice chairman of standardization committee for e-commerce

Alibaba's Jack Ma was appointed vice chairman of a new standardization committee for national e-commerce quality management, an official notice showed Monday.

The committee will draw up standards for e-commerce, according to the notice published by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

The authority expects the committee to control the quality of e-commerce according to international standards.
