British FTSE 100 rises 1.1 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 1.10 percent, or 67.52 points, to 6,204.41 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 8.12 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. BHP Billiton, Royal Dutch Shell A, Royal Dutch Shell B and Rio Tinto increased by 4.54 percent, 3.99 percent, 3.85 percent and 3.65 percent, respectively.

Experian led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.27 percent, following by Shire (1.00 percent), Schroders (0.95 percent), Berkeley Group Holdings (0.70 percent) and Kingfisher (0.50 percent). Enditem
