Indian stocks opened higher, but soon fell marginally on Thursday amid consolidation in early trade, tracking weakness in Asian peers.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 24,998.79, 98.16 points or 0.39 percent up from previous close of 24,900.63. Endit
