Urgent: U.S. stocks end higher on upbeat data

U.S. stocks reversed early losses to closed higher Friday, as Wall Street assessed a batch of generally positive economic reports.

The Dow rose 0.61 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.63 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.92 percent. Endit
