Chinese shares close mixed Friday

China's stocks closed mixed on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.19 percent to 3,009.53 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index edged down 0.72 percent to end at 10,379.65 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, declined 1.47 percent to close at 2,205.37 points. Endi
