Danish wind turbine giant Vestas gets 600 MW service order in China

Xinhua, March 31, 2016 Adjust font size:

Danish wind turbine giant Vestas has landed a 600 megawatts service order for Hanas Group's 12 wind power plants in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the company said on Thursday.

The service order covers all Vestas wind turbines installed for Hanas Group, the leading Chinese regional gas supplier, and comprises a one-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service agreement designed to maximize energy production and a four-year Portfolio Support agreement, which is a flexible service to meet specific customer needs, Vestas said in a statement.

"We look forward to continuing the long-term partnership with Hanas Group and to helping them lower the cost of energy through these tailor-made service solutions," said Chris Beaufait, president of Vestas Asia Pacific and China, adding that Vestas' service strategy in China is well-designed to meet evolving customer needs.

Headquartered in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia in northwestern China, Hanas Group is a well-known clean energy solutions provider that entered the wind power market in 2011.

Hanas Group's fleet of Vestas turbines totals 600 megawatts of installed capacity, with several hundred additional capacity currently under construction.

Vestas is the largest service provider in the wind power industry with more than 15 percent of the worldwide wind turbine fleet under service. Endit
