At least 8 killed in suicide bombing in central Somalia

At least eight people were killed in a suicide bombing in a hotel in Galkalcyo town in Mudug region in north-central Somalia on Thursday, witnesses said.

The witnesses said the attack at Unlay Hotel left head of finance of Puntland State and five of his bodyguards dead.

There is no official confirmation from local authorities but Al-Shabaab have claimed responsibility, saying they killed head of finance of Puntland State in Mudug region, Sa'id Ali Yusuf and five of his body guards. Enditem
