1st LD: Magnitude 5 earthquake hits central Iran

An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit central Iran on Thursday, Iranian Seismological Center reported.

The quake occurred in Naghan, in Iran's central province of Charmahal va Bakhtiari at 11:45 local time (0715 GMT).

So far, there has been no report of any damage or casualties due to the earthquake, according to state TV. Endit
