Spanish stock market rises 0.21 pct, closes at 8,808 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 rose 0.21 pct on Tuesday after the Easter holidays to close at 8,808.30 points, up from the 8,789.80 points of Thursday.

On Tuesday's session, OHL shares led rises climbing 4.12 percent, followed by IAG, ArcelorMittal, Telefonica, Enagas, R.E.C. and Endesa that rose 2.22 percent, 1.65 percent, 1.48 percent, 1.21 percent, 1.20 percent and 0.87 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Sabadell shares led falls losing 1.51 percent, followed by Caixabank, Bankia, Banco Popular, BBVA, Tecnicas Reunidas and Sacyr that lost 1.38 percent, 1.37 percent, 1.13 percent, 1.02 percent, 1.01 percent and 0.95 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 122 points, falling from the 135.5 points of Thursday. Endit
