Nigeria's para-athletes coach upbeat ahead of Rio Olympics

Nigeria' s para-athletes head coach Adesoji Adekunle on Tuesday said the West African nation would have a good outing at this year' s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Adekunle told reporters in Lagos that the team will bank on its success at the recently held Grand Prix in Tunis, the Tunisian capital, to make great exploits at the Paralympic Games.

"I am glad that we have qualified for the Paralympic Games. No doubt, success awaits us in Rio," said the sprints head coach.

Nigeria won two gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal at the recently held Grand Prix organized by the International Paralympic Committee. Endit
