Yuan Sijun upsets Martin Gould 5-0 at World Snooker China Open

The 16-year-old Chinese player Yuan Sijun again surprised the audience by beating Martin Gould 5-0 on the second day of the World Snooker China Open.
Born in 2000, Yuan held the wild card to face Andrew Higginson in yesterday' s qualifier, he made it to the first round by defeating the latter 5-3. Playing against Martin Gould, who ranks the 13th in the world today, he finished with a even more impressive 5-0 victory with a 102-point break in the third frame.
"I guess I was luckier today and he was not, I don't know exactly how I won by 5-0." It seemed that the young player was still adapting to his triumph.
"I know my next opponent will be Graeme Dott, the 2006 World Championship winner," added him, "I won't give myself too much pressure."
The World Championship winner of 2015, Stuart Bingham outscored Sam Baird 5-3 tonight to head into the second round. In the fourth frame, the world No.2 scored 153 points by hitting an impressive 143-point break with ten more points added by two successful snookers. Endit
