All Indian workers safe at Afghan Parliament, say sources

Xinhua, March 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

There has been no Indian casualty in the terror attack on the Afghan Parliament Monday, sources said.

"All Indian workers at the Afghan Parliament are safe," the sources said, after the new Parliament came under attack with militants firing rockets at the building complex in Kabul.

According to media reports, four rockets were fired and a rocket hit the Parliament as some security officials were on their way to the building to brief lawmakers.

The Parliament building was constructed by India and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015 when he visited that country. Endit
