Vietnamese club Vietinbank on Sunday night defeated China's Jiangsu club 3-1, claiming the VTV Binh Dien Cup International Women's Volleyball Championship in northern Vietnam.

Vietnamese players started the game with good form, winning the first two sets 25-23 and 26-24, respectively. Chinese players fought back and claim the third set 25-21.

The two teams entered the fourth set with high determination and kept trading points. Vietinbank then finished the set 38-36, the highest point level during the tournament.

The 10th VTV Binh Dien Cup kicked off on March 19 in Vietnam's Ninh Binh Province, some 90 km south of capital Hanoi, with the participation of eight teams, including China's Fujian club, China's Jiangsu club, Malaysia, Thailand, DPRK's 4.25 Sports Club and three others from Vietnam (VTV Binh Dien Long An, LienVietPostbank and Vietinbank).

The eight teams were divided into two groups competing in round robin format. Enditem
