Dollar changing hands in lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, fractionally higher than levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.43-44 yen compared with 112.33-43 yen in New York and 112.38-39 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1177-1178 dollars and 125.66-68 yen against 1.1174-1184 dollars and 125.59-69 yen in New York and 1.1189-1190 dollars and 125.74-78 yen in Tokyo in late deals on Wednesday afternoon. Endit
