1st LD Writethru: Danish politicians express sympathy to Belgium blasts victims

Danish politicians voiced support to Belgium and sympathy to victims of blasts that rocked an airport and a metro station in Brussels Tuesday morning.

Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen wrote on his Twitter account that "heinous attack in Brussels. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families. We stand united with Belgium."

In a following tweet, Rasmussen said Brussels was "attacked by terrorists. I feel sorrow and anger. Let's hunt them down and stay united in our fight for european values."

Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen said on Twitter "I am shocked by and concerned with the events in Brussels. My thoughts go out to the victims. Denmark stands with our friends and allies."

At least 13 people were reportedly dead after the explosions in Brussels. The threat level in the Belgian capital was raised from three to maximum four. Endit
