Greece voiced solidarity with the Belgian people after Tuesday's explosions which have caused 13 deaths at Brussels airport and 15 deaths at a metro station, while Aegean airlines cancelled flights to Brussels.

"We express Greece's solidarity with the Belgian people. Fear, religious hatred and racism must not overcome Europe," Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras tweeted.

"Brussels, our Union's capital, is under attack. We mourn the dead and pledge to conquer terror," the Greek Foreign Ministry also posted on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Greek airliner Aegean announced that all flights to Brussels have been cancelled until further notice.

The Aegean flight A3620, which departed from Athens International airport on Tuesday morning with Brussels airport as its final destination, would land at Dusseldorf airport of Germany. Enditem
