China's Xu and France's Grumier win epee grand prix in Budapest

Xu Anqi of China triumphed in the women's epee competition at the FIE grand prix in Budapest, while Gauthier Grumier of France won the men's epee event on Sunday.

Xu Anqi beat Sarra Besbes of Tunesia 15-13 in the final. Tatiana Logunova and Tatyana Andryushina of Russia were joint third.

Gauthier Grumier won the men's final with a score of 15-4 ahead of second placed Enrico Garozzo of Italy. Gabor Boczko of Hungary and Youngjun Kweon of South Korea were third.

A total of 501 fencers from about 60 countries and regions participated in the competition. Endi
